Valerie spent much of her young adult life in Timmins, Ontario where she discovered her passion for business and finance while working for the family-owned business. Valerie later moved to Victoria, BC to explore the west coast, and has since set roots in the city she and her husband call “paradise”. Valerie graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University, articled with Grant Thornton LLP and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2011. Valerie brings a strong background in financial accounting, an enthusiasm for process efficiencies and a desire to drive collaborative results.
