BEAUTIFUL BOUTIQUE RENTAL HOMES & 3 LIVE/WORK SPACES
THE CHARLESWORTH
Located at 1015 Cook Street in Victoria, BC, this 5-storey residential rental building brings a contemporary authenticity to the community, stylistically striking the right balance amid its neighbouring historic structures. The aesthetic character and exterior materials intentionally reflect that of its sister building, the adjacent Bell Apartments, without compromising its modern architecture.
The Charlesworth offers total of 31 boutique apartment homes with 7 layout types to choose from ranging in size from 398 sqft to 558 sqft. This brand new building is in a prime location on Cook Street, a short walk to downtown, Beacon Hill Park, and the Dallas Road waterfront. The interiors have been meticulously designed to evoke a sense of modernity while balancing a respect for the history of this particular city block.

3 on-site MODO car share vehicles with free memberships available to each qualifying resident which will help encourage a more sustainable approach to car use and follow a growing trend towards a shared economy. In addition, a ride-in secure bike storage room is accessible directly from the outside at the main level and includes charging options for those with electric bikes, a bike repair and wash area.
The rooftop terrace at The Charlesworth, appointed with stylish outdoor furniture from Article, is without a doubt one of its most impressive features. Unobstructed views of the Juan de Fuca Strait as well as downtown Victoria give residents and guests a truly spectacular vantage point. Prepare meals in the spacious outdoor kitchen, play lawn games amid beautiful landscaping, dine al fresco under twinkling lights, or lounge with a cold beverage on a summer day and watch the clouds drift by.
Pets can live here too! We know how tough it can be to find a rental home that allows for our four-legged friends, so it’s important to us that they feel at home at The Charlesworth.
One caveat however: they must weigh 40lbs or less.
Walk, cycle and car-share your way around the city
Residents enjoy easy access to downtown, Cook Street Village, Beacon Hill Park, coffee shops & boutiques. From on-site modo car share stalls to secured electric bicycle stalls, The Charlesworth offers a new and attractive form of urban livability.

Inspired by local history, created with care.
The building is named after Alick Thomas Bentall Charlesworth, a former tenant of Bell Apartments, which is adjacent to The Charlesworth building. Charlesworth was a Corporal in the 88th Battalion and tragically lost his life on May 30th, 1917, while piloting a DH4 bomber overseas during WWI. The poppy worn by the female figure on the Bell Apartments mural (created by local artist, Lydia Beauregard) is an homage to the courage and sacrifice made by Charlesworth and so many others. Not only will this well-loved mural remain highly visible and unobstructed due to the set-back location of the Charlesworth, but another mural is planned for the south facade of the new building and will be designed and executed by the same artist. The early concept for this artwork depicts an illustrative representation of ‘joie de vivre’, and this is precisely the sentiment we hope to inspire among the Charlesworth’s tenants, residents and passersby alike.
Blue days, all of them gone.
Nothing but blue skies, from now on.
